Dr. Kamta Nath Mishra's academic journey began in 1992 with a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Gorakhpur, India. He furthered his studies by obtaining an M.C.A. degree in 1996 from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College (currently MMMUT) in Gorakhpur. He continued his academic journey with an M.Tech. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, India, in 2003. He later obtained a Ph.D. (Engg.) from the C.S.E. department of B.I.T. Mesra, India, in May 2015.

With over 25 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Mishra is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of CS&E at B.I.T. Mesra, Ranchi, India. Prior to this, he worked as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sebha, Libya and held a senior lecturer position at B.I.T. Mesra (Noida Campus). Earlier in his career, he worked as a project engineer and senior project engineer at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (Ministry of Communication & I.T., Govt. of India) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. His teaching career began as a lecturer in the Computer Science & Engineering department at Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology (KIET), Ghaziabad, India.

Dr. Mishra has made significant contributions to the academic world, authoring four books, eighteen book chapters, and published more than fifty research papers in prestigious international journals and conferences. His research interests encompass diverse fields, including Biometric Systems, Image Processing, Algorithm Analysis, Distributed Cloud Computing, and medical Internet of Things. As a testament to his expertise, he is a professional member of the IEEE Biometric Society (USA) and ACM (USA), showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Lal received his postgraduate degree from D.D.U. University, Gorakhpur, and his Ph.D. from the Department of Electronics Engineering, IIT (BHU), Varanasi.

After receiving his Ph.D. in 2005, Dr. Lal joined BIT Mesra, Ranchi, as a lecturer under the EFIP Program of AICTE. In 2012, he was promoted to Associate Professor at BIT Mesra. In 2019, Dr. Lal transferred to the Deoghar, off-campus of BIT Mesra, where he currently serves as the Head of the ECE Department and Chief Warden. Dr. Lal has more than nineteen years of teaching and research Experience.

Dr. Lal has supervised four Ph.D. students for their thesis. His research has been published in a wide variety of journals, such as the IEE Proceedings of Optoelectronics (IEE), Infrared Physics and Technology (Elsevier), and Progress in Crystal Growth and Characterization of Materials (Elsevier).

Dr. Lal's current research focuses on modeling optoelectronic devices, including Mid-Infrared Photodetectors and QWIPs. He has also contributed to research in the fields of VLSI, Quantum Computing, and Machine Learning, publishing several high-quality papers.
