Dr. Jagdish Chandra Patni is a Professor at the Alliance School of Advanced Computing, Alliance University, Bengaluru, India. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Database Systems and Optimizations, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, High- Performance Computing, and Software Engineering. Before joining Alliance University, he held positions at Symbiosis International University, Pune, Jain University, Bengaluru, and the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. He has authored over 100 research articles published in nationally and internationally recognized journals and conferences of repute, as well as 8 books and more than 12 book chapters with international publishers.
Dr. Patni is an active Guest Editor and Reviewer for various peer-reviewed international journals, serving as a reviewer for over 20 reputable international journals. He has delivered keynote and guest speeches in India and abroad, and has organized multiple conferences/seminars/workshops/Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) globally. He has been awarded the Eminent Engineers Award, Outstanding Performance Award, Guru Siromani Award, Professor of the Year, Researcher Excellence Award, Young Scientist Award, Teacher of the Year, and Best Paper Award by Hosei University, Tokyo, Japan. He is a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), a Senior member of IEEE, and a member of ACM, MIE, IEANG, IACSIT, and Vigyan Bharti.
Dr. Latika Pinjarkar obtained her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from CSVTU, Chhattisgarh, India, in 2019. She completed her M.Tech in Computer Technology and Application from CSVTU, Chhattisgarh, India, in 2008, and her BE in Computer Technology from Nagpur University, Maharashtra, in 1999. With over 22 years of experience in research and teaching, she is currently an Associate Professor and Academic Head in the CSE Department at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, part of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Latika has presented more than 40 papers in international and national journals, and conferences, with 5 patents to her credit. She has also completed a research project sponsored by TEQIP-III. Her research interests include Image Processing, Computer Vision, Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR), and Machine Learning.
